Hello

I've just got a new Jura F9, and so far I'm very satisfied.

However I have a question about the drip tray.

I'm using a small bowl/bucket when it's rinsing, to avoid water in the drip tray, but the drip tray still collect lots of water. I'm wondering if it's normal, that the machine produce waste water from inside when brewing?

My old Delonhi esam5400, didn't have this problem = less cleaning.

Answers are very welcome in German, since it's a German forum, and I understand some German language - elsewhere google translate is my friend.

Mfg
Hans

It is absolutely normal, that a small amount of water (ca. 2 cl) gets into the drip tray after each rinsing or each coffee brewing. It comes through the drain valve at the bottom of the brewing unit.

Thank you for clearing this out...

I just thought it was a little strange, since my Delonghi didn't had this behaviour, but now I know it's normal smile.gif

I just means a little more maintenance.
